Quick Update: Gunung Angsi, Negeri Sembilan

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

On the weekend of 7th November 2018, I went to Gunung Angsi with my Hiking-mates (UUM). I never thought that I'm going to hiking again with them around Negeri Sembilan. I thought that Gunung Irau was our closing 'ceremony' for all of us. Thank you to my little sisters Aisya & Yani for taking me from Putrajaya to Negeri Sembilan.

These are some of our photos to feed you guys!

my little sissy, Yani & Aisya
and not to forget, our Ilia #uumkembaramate
Don't ask me how it felt, through all mountains, I keep reminded them,
I'm not ready to die. 😅

Til we meet again,
xoxo

Gunung Datuk, Negeri Sembilan

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

Did you realize that relationship always starting at weird moment? Like how weird I can befriend with Natasya because at early of my studies in UUM, I tried to avoid from getting close with her since I know she is one of top student. My lack of confidence and insecurities hold me from getting close to any top / famous or well-known person. (but I think I end up being one of those *insert evil laugh*) Look at now, she's a bestfriend of mine at KL that knows almost all about me and still loves me regardless how negative I am. I hope this last forever lah, jangan at the end gaduh jadi strangers dah la 😂

So from unplanned gathering at KL Book Run lead to a plan to Gunung Datuk! This time, Iwan brought his friend, Apis and I brought my youngest sister along with me. Unfortunately, hiking is no more good for me. I puked a lot, like really a lot. (I never ever did puke in any hiking trip before). I was lucky to have my sister with me, she helped me (hoping that you never regret for your decision to follow akak).

Some of our photos:

All goes well except our expedition towards the peak got slow from our expectation because of my slow pace and non-stop puke around. Nevertheless, we still able to perform subuh at peak, alhamdulillah. 😉

til then,
xoxo

Quick Update: Bukit Tok Dun / Bukit Laka, Perlis (Part 3)

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

And here we were again on 22 September 2017. But this time, it was too special for me. It was #misicintaseptember because my birthday's month and I hiked a day before my birthday! 😂 I am really happy with this escape and not feeling too exhausted and tired as usual maybe because my excitement > my tiredness. 😂 Thus, I took  a lot of short videos this time in hoping I got time to compile all videos and photos in one video. (dream on)

❤️

It was a very lovely weather. Thank you Allah for this opportunity and happiness that you continuously showered me again and again.

til then,
xoxo

Gunung Irau, Pahang

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

Enchanting view of Banjaran Titiwangsa.

Mount Irau is located on the border of Perak with Pahang and has a height of 2,110 m (6,924 feet) and it is the highest peak in the Cameron Highlands. It is also known as mossy forest and known as Lord of The Ring's forest.

You have to apply for a permit if you want to climb this mountain and have to make a report before you start your hiking to the Police Station. If I am not mistaken, all of these were manage by Iwan and Amran, we just pay the fees to them and they arranged it.

It was 2 days 2 nights escape.

We departed from UUM, Kedah at night, arrived and sleep at surau for the first night. Then we booked a chalet / house at Cameron Highland for the next night. So the boys sleep at downstairs and girl at bedrooms (very thoughtful and protective of them kan).

So these were snippet photos of us:

The climb usually takes up to 4 hours to reach the top depending on the stamina. It is advisable to start the climb in the early morning to avoid downhill activities in the late afternoon. (you know any uphill and downhill activities at noon is no joke) So you can arrive at the starting point of the climb before nightfall.
